Please join us at the 9th annual Addiction Medicine Conference – the region’s premier conference for substance use disorder and addiction-related education and updates, hosted by the Governor’s Institute, North Carolina Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the North Carolina Society of Addiction Medicine.
The 2017 conference attracted nearly 300 addiction medicine specialists, primary care physicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, medical students and other healthcare professionals from North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina and across the United States.

This opportunity includes a 60-minute luncheon time slot to bring in your own sponsored speaker. The session is open to all attendees. No CME will be provided. Food for all attendees, room and AV are covered by the Addiction Medicine Conference.

All representatives must be registered in affiliation with and be employed by the exhibiting company/organization. You may have no more than two (2) representatives at your display at a time.
Additional exhibit table representatives with badges (up to 2) can be purchased for $200 each. If you wish to alternate representatives during the conference, you can purchase an alternate name badges for $25 each.
Exhibit Hall Info and Guidelines
The 2018 Addiction Medicine Conference Exhibit Hall is located beside the main session ballroom in a separate space from CME programming. Coffee and tea are served all day in the Exhibit Hall, and snacks are available during conference breaks.
You will have the opportunity to interact with attendees and provide them with information about your products and/or services. As extra incentive to visit the Exhibit Hall, all attendees will be provided with a door prize form to have initialed as they visit your display. By completing the form, they are eligible for multiple door prizes! Door prizes are provided by the Addiction Medicine Conference.
Display Space Assignment
Display space is confirmed and assigned in the order payment is received by the event coordinator. To be confirmed, application and payment in full must be received by event coordinator. Display floor plan table layout and assignment list will be distributed to all exhibitors prior to the conference. All table assignments are final.
All exhibit display activities must take place within the denoted Exhibit Hall or Pre-Function space. All exhibit display promotional products must be displayed on assigned table. Promotional activity outside of these spaces is prohibited.
Separation of promotional materials, discussion and activities will be monitored and strictly enforced by Governor’s Institute staff.
Special Requests / Electrical
If you have any special requests such as electrical access, audio-visual, wired internet, or other setup needs, please denote on your online registration form.
Registration, Payment & Confirmation
Exhibit Display registration must be completed online. Payment can be made online using a credit card or you may denote you will be mailing check payment.
Make check payable to Governor’s Institute and mail to: Governor’s Institute, Attn: Addiction Medicine Conference, 1121 Situs Court, Suite 320, Raleigh, NC 27606. A confirmation receipt will be issued to authorized representative once payment is received.
A cancellation request must be made in writing to event coordinator by Monday, March 26, 2018 and will be subject to a 25% administrative fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after March 26, 2018.
Wireless internet will be available throughout the Exhibit Hall, with connection information provided in your sponsor packet that you will receive upon check-in.
A printed copy of the participant list of registered attendees will be provided upon exhibitor check-in. A digital participant list of all attendees will be emailed in PDF format to primary company/organization contact within one week of the conference.

The exhibiting company/organization is responsible for all inbound and outbound shipments of exhibit display materials, including any costs incurred. The hotel will accept shipments of boxes for the conference on Monday, April 23.

The hotel can provide outbound shipping services. All boxes must be completely packed and have completed carrier’s air bill for your preferred shipper. Call tags must be completed for any packages shipped using services other than FedEx.
Neither the Governor’s Institute nor the Renaissance Asheville Hotel will assume liability for loss or damages of/to exhibitor’s property. The exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of injury or damage to exhibitor displays, equipment, and other property brought on the premises of the Renaissance Asheville Hotel and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Governor’s Institute, the Renaissance Asheville Hotel, their agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.
All matters including questions, amendments, etc. not covered by these guidelines are at the discretion of the Governor’s Institute. These regulations may be amended at any time by Governor’s Institute and equally binding.
