Hosted by the Governor’s Institute, the NC Division of Mental Health, Developmental Disabilities and Substance Abuse Services, the NC Division of Public Health, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the North Carolina Society of Addiction Medicine, this new event will follow in the successful footsteps of the larger Addiction Medicine Conference held each Spring.

All representatives must be registered in affiliation with and be employed by the exhibiting company/organization. You may have no more than two (2) representatives at your display at a time.

Exhibitor Info and Guidelines

The 2018 Addiction Medicine Essentials Conference exhibit area is located beside the main session room in a separate space from CME programming.

You will have the opportunity to interact with attendees and provide them with information about your products and/or services during registration, lunches, and morning and afternoon breaks.

Display Space Assignment
Display space is confirmed and assigned in the order payment is received by the event coordinator. To be confirmed, application and payment in full must be received by event coordinator. Display floor plan table layout and assignment list will be distributed to all exhibitors prior to the conference. All table assignments are final.

Display Activities
All exhibit display activities must take place within the pre-function space. All exhibit display promotional products must be displayed on assigned table. Promotional activity outside of these spaces is prohibited.

Separation of promotional materials, discussion and activities will be monitored and strictly enforced by Governor’s Institute staff.

If you have any special requests such as electrical access or other setup needs, please denote on your online registration form. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Registration, Payment & Confirmation
Exhibit Display registration must be completed online at https://addictionmedicineconference.org/essentials-sponsor-or-exhibitor/. Payment can be made online using a credit card or you may opt to mail a check payment. A confirmation receipt will be issued to the authorized representative once payment is received. If paying by check, make payable to Governor’s Institute and mail to:

Cancellation
A cancellation request must be made in writing to event coordinator by Friday, November 2, 2018 and will be subject to a 25% administrative fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations received after November 2, 2018.

Wireless Internet
Wireless internet will be available throughout the Exhibit Hall, with connection information provided in your information packet that you will receive upon check-in.

Participant List
A printed copy of the participant list of registered attendees will be provided upon exhibitor check-in. A digital participant list of all attendees will be emailed in PDF format to primary company/organization contact within one week of the conference.

Inbound / Outbound Shipping
The exhibiting company/organization is responsible for all inbound and outbound shipments of exhibit display materials, including any costs incurred. The conference center will accept shipments of boxes for the conference Monday, November 12 through Thursday, November 15.

Davis Conference Center and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Governor’s Institute, the Archie K. Davis Conference Center, their agents, servants, and employees from any and all such losses, damages, and claims.
All matters including questions, amendments, etc. not covered by these guidelines are at the discretion of the Governor’s Institute. These regulations may be amended at any time by Governor’s Institute and are equally binding.
